Guidelines
Instructions:
Teams of max 3 members will be allowed
Round 1 - Extempore round, wherein one member from each team will speak spontaneously on a topic for two and a half minutes. Top 10 teams advance to the next round.
Round 2 - Oxford-style debating round, in which 2 teams, selected randomly, will go head-to-head against each other, arguing in favour of and against a given motion respectively. Each side(proposition and opposition) will consist of two members, with each speaker getting 3 minutes to present their arguments, followed by cross-questioning and rebuttals. Top 5 teams advance to the final round.
Round 3 - The final round comprises a parliamentary style of debate, wherein all the final teams will compete against each other, arguing on an open-ended question presented to the house. All the 3 members of a team will participate in this round together as a unit.
